Thierry Bontridder gold and topaze unique ring

Thierry Bontridder acquired his training as a jewelery designer during the courses of Emile Souply at the Institute of Adornment and Jewelery at the Arts et Métiers de la Ville de Bruxelles, where, from 1998, he was responsible for teaching jewelery contemporary. Her creations are in line with her sculptures, with simple curves and shapes, games of translucency and opacity, subtle dialogues between light, space and colors that energize the plasticity of jewellery. In addition to gold, silver and diamonds, the artist is distinguished by the use of rather unusual materials: colored plexi, nylon, corian, glass and above all titanium, a metal whose moire appearance will continue to fascinate him for his sculptures. "Thierry Bontridder belongs to those creators for whom technical mastery is the interpreter of the material. His requirement for formal acuity calls for appropriate, even sophisticated processes.
