Irakli Nasidze is a Franco-Georgian artist born in 1973 who lives and works between Paris, France, and Tbilisi, Georgia. He received comprehensive training in fashion and art at the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts. He later settled in Paris, where, starting in the 2000s, he presented several shows during Paris Haute Couture Week, and went on to exhibit his collections in Paris, Tbilisi, Saint Petersburg, Vilnius, Beijing, and Shanghai, among others. He now lives between France, Georgia, and China.
His work is multifaceted: a creator of haute couture, ready-to-wear, and jewelry, he is also a painter, illustrator, and furniture designer. In 2023, he exhibited at the MOMA in Tbilisi alongside artist Qiao Qi. In 2024, his jewelry was presented by Collectors Gallery at the BRAFA Art Fair in Brussels.

Irakli’s style, both in conception and in his textile creations and paintings, is distinguished by clean lines enriched with figurative elements such as faces, fauna, and flora. Color plays a subtle role, appearing in touches of light or vivid tones against darker backgrounds, through blends of pigments or applied elements on ceramics, as well as precious or semi-precious stones in his jewelry. Irakli constantly seeks a balance between simplicity and exuberance, between functionality and beauty. His artistic language is highly personal, blending all the cultures that influence him.
