JACQUELINE RABUN
US, born 1960
Jacqueline Rabun is an American-born jewelry designer known for her sculptural, minimalist, and emotionally expressive style. Based in London since the late 1980s, she draws inspiration from nature, human relationships, and organic forms. Her designs often merge conceptual storytelling with wearable elegance. Rabun has collaborated with luxury brands and is especially recognized for her long-term partnership with Georg Jensen, where she created some of the brand’s most iconic modern collections.
Since launching her first collection, Raw Elegance, in the early 1990s, Rabun has developed a distinctive visual language characterised by bold, organic forms, sensual curves and architectural simplicity. Her jewellery often explores universal themes of love, identity, transformation and the human body, transforming these ideas into powerful and highly tactile objects.
Her long-standing collaboration with the Danish house Georg Jensen, beginning in the late 1990s, resulted in some of her most celebrated designs, including the Offspring, Mercy, Cave and Reflect collections. She has also collaborated with international designers and galleries, including Halston and Carpenters Workshop Gallery.
Rabun’s work is held in private and institutional collections internationally and is recognised for its ability to combine contemporary minimalism with a strong emotional and symbolic presence. Her jewellery occupies a unique position between functional design and sculpture, intended not simply to adorn the body but to engage with it.
